Killer Bee

In 2015, the co-owner of Black Label Trading Co., James Brown, launched a new brand called Black Works Studio Killer Bee. After its initial launch, Killer Bee generated quite a buzz around the industry, and it still remains a highly popular small batch offering today. Brown’s concept for these groundbreaking premium cigars was to have a signature linear cap, made of strips of natural tobacco wound around a Maduro wrapper, made to resemble bee-stripes. Underneath this two-shade wrapper, is bold Nicaraguan binder and filler tobacco that produces a full-bodied profile, offering intensely delicious tasting notes of spicy pepper, earth, oak, roasted nuts, and hints of chocolate. Although not for the faint of heart or palate, the well-seasoned cigar connoisseur will enjoy a robust, highly satisfying cigar that swarms the senses with beautifully balanced flavors that is best enjoyed after a fine meal and perhaps a couple of casual cocktails.
