Pi Synesthesia cigars are blended by Tim Ozgener of Ozgener Family Cigars to commemorate an art series created by his father, Cano Ozgener. When the Ozgener family stepped away from the premium cigar world following the sale of CAO to Scandinavian Tobacco Group, Cano turned toward a different artistic expression.
A studied mathematician, Cano Ozgener had a particular passion for the number Pi and its infinite, non-repeating decimal. In his art series Pi Synesthesia, Cano Ozgener assigned each digit a color and length, and arranged them in the order of Pi’s digits to create a visual representation of the number, blending the senses in a way reminiscent of synesthesia. This artwork is depicted on the bands of each Pi Synesthesia cigar.
Made in Nicaragua into a single 6x52 Toro size, Pi Synesthesia is crafted with a top-shelf Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that cloaks an Ecuadorian Habano binder and an aged blend of Nicaraguan long fillers. Once lit, a richly balance medium-bodied bouquet of roasted nuts, sweet cream, baking spices, cedar, toasted bread, and a pleasing floral aroma that satisfies all the senses.
Made in a single batch of 2,500 boxes of 12, you need to act quickly if you want to secure some for your humidor. By ordering your Pi Synesthesia cigars online from Casa de Montecristo, you can pick up your box of 12 at your local store or have them shipped fast right to your door.
